BARCODE ISSUE

Hi Experts,

If we print either a Japanese invoice or a French invoice that contains a barcode  to a physical printer, the Kanji characters and barcodes are intact.

But when we try  download into pdf the Kanji and barcode are corrupted.

Please help me if possible.

Hello Syed,

if the PDF does not contain any sensitive data, could you please attach an example screenshot about the corrupt Japanese text and barcode, so I can see what the actual problem is?

Also provide more information (SapScript, Smartforms, version of system)

Did you look for OSS notes, there were many relative to such problem published during last batch of SmartForms upgrade, start for examples with following, there were many, filter on your system(s) version(s)

• 645158 - New bar code technology
• 1557674 - Overview of bar code printing from SAP system
