HI EVERYBODY,
I HAVE 1 QUERY REGARDING 'BAPI'.
I HAVE VERY LOW LEVEL PERCEPTION IN BAPI.
I CAME TO KNOW THAT BAPI IS A PROGRAMMING INTERFACE.
IS THAT MEAN THE FOLLOWING SCENARIO?
A JAVA PROGRAMMER(NON-SAP) ACCESSES THE DATA IN R/3 THROUGH THIS BAPI.IF THIS IS TRUE, THEN WHAT IS THE NEED OF BAPI FOR SAP PEOPLE.WHY SAP PEOPLE NEED TO LEARN BAPI.
CAN ANYBODY KINDLY EXPLAIN THIS CONCEPT CLEARLY.
REGARDS,
YATEENDRA.

Hi,
Java people use when the BAPI Exists in SAP.
If it is not there who will Create it. ABAP er has do the work of Creation of BAPI.
IN SAP ABAPer can use BAPI instead of BDC.
IN BDC we need to update or insertion through Screen interaction, Where as with BAPI we can directly Update or Insert the data.
