BAPI to attach document in MIR4

Hi Gurus,

My requirement is to attach file to the invoice in MIR4 t-code. We can manually do this by going to system-> services for objects. But we want to automate this process i.e.

On desktop we will be having an excel sheet in which we will have invoice number , year and file path. Our requirement is to attach the file present at that path to the corresponding invoice and year in MIR4.

Please suggest some way to do this(BAPI , BDC ,LSMW etc.)

During your search, before posting, did you find Use of Generic object services to attach a URL to Business objects or a similar document ?
