Hi Experts,

BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT1 and BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2

What are major differences between these two Standard Bapis.

Haven't you checked the Tcode BAPI for the above two BAPI's.

Its said that BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT1 is obsolete as of Release 46C !

So you need to use BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 for the latest releases.

As per SAP released documentation the new BAPI "BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2" has the following advantages over the earlier one,

- Upload of header and item texts possible

- Upload of n conditions

- Upload of n schedule lines

- Connection to the Central Address Management (CAM) address (Note 195768)

  • Requested delivery quantities and the requested delivery date are schedule line data that has to be entered in the relevant input table (BAPISCHDL).
