BAPI returns PDF

Hi all,

Am trying to implement a BAPI that rerutrns a PDF to a webdynpro. I create the PDF from a smartform through FM 'CONVERT_OTF_2_PDF'. Now this FM returns a table of type TLINETAB, and when a try to put a parameter of the same type in my BAPI i get the following message "Data type TLINETAB cannot be used for methods". Do you guys know what type should I use for the BAPI to return the PDF?

Use structure TLINE.

Thank you Sirdhar for replying. TLINE is a structure, but i need to return a table, if i eventually use TLINE I would be able to return just one line. Do you have any other ideas. I know i can convert my table to an xstring, but again BAPIs do not return xstrings. Thanks for your help.

Are you creating a custom BAPI fm? You should not have any problem adding a tables parameter LIKE TLINE in the tables tab.
