BAPI_PO_CREATE giving error "Missing authorization:"

when I am connecting to RFC " BAPI_PO_CREATE" through the VISUAL STUDIO it giving error "Missing authorization: Purchase Order Create Purchasing Grou SYC". Please suggest.

Hi,

You are connecting RFC with VISUAL STUDIO you have to maintain the connections between them go to SM59 and do the connections.

May be you don't have authorizations to ME21N try to open ME21N may be that might be the problem i guess.

Check that the User whose login Id is maintained in the RFC (SM59), has authorization to create PO, If not, you will give the error message.

Hi Srinivas,

You might need to check whether the user name that you used in the Visual Studio to call the BAPI have authorization to create PO (t-code ME21/ME21N) in R/3.
