BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA, data not updated

hi everybody

I am using the bapi BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA to update data in table MBEW, but the problem is that the valuation type in mbew is always empty, thus the data are not getting updated.

is there another way to do an update in that table?

you can only create an accounting view WITH valuation type, after you created an accounting view without valuation type which has an indicator for split valuation This is then the so-called accounting header.
