BAPI for transaction LP10

Hi,

I am trying to update the material quantity using the transaction LP10, i am getting lot of problem with the varying number of line items. Plese suggest me a bapi to do the same funcationality as LP10 does.

BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA Create and Change Material

Master Data

BAPI_MATERIAL_EDIT Change Material
