BAPI for HU

hi,

i am using BAPI_HU_CREATE to create empty handling unit.

But how do u link it to particular delivery, there is no options being linked to delivery. And without passing item informaiton, it is not creating HU, is there any other fm or modifications i need to do...please advise

The documentation states that you can only create an "unassigned" handling unit with the BAPI. (at least on 4.6c).

I will look for the place in the docs and post it... but i know it is there, i fought the same issue. i wound up leaving them unassigned, which was ok for us...

populate the INHALT (that is nothing but delivery) and try.
