Hi,

not just BAPI, but function group CSAP may be helpful.

Try using these FM...

BAPI_MATERIAL_BOM_GROUP_CREATE -- Creation of a material BOM group

BAPI_MAT_BOM_EXISTENCE_CHECK --Check whether BOM for material exists
