BAPI_FIXEDASSET_CREATE1 - screen layout checks not getting executed

Hi All,

I'm using 'BAPI_FIXEDASSET_CREATE1' to create the assets. It's running fine.

But the BAPI is not checking the screen layout validations. Certain fields are mandatory in AS01 transaction; like Description & Cost center, based on the configuration. If i pass empty values for these in the BAPI, its not throwing any error.

Please help me in getting this fixed.

Thanks Rob.

But it did not help. I tried to debug the BAPI and was not able to get anything.

For time being we are handling the checks manually in the Z program before calling the BAPI.
