BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2 / BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2 - Create new version of a doc

How can I create a new version of an existing document using one of these two BAPIs. If it can't be done using one of these two (I tried several ways and don't think it is) then how can I accomplish this?
