BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATE for nonvalue materials

I have used BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATE to create a contract for nonvalued materials.  We have upgraded our system and now are getting the error ME083 - Enter Net Price.  Price should be zero.

Before the Upgrade, adding the ACCOUNT and ACCOUNTX for each item removed this error.   I've added ACCOUNT and ACCOUNTX entries, but am still getting the error.

If I try to add a price of .01 then I get the error 06159 "For items without invoice receipts, please enter price 0"

We are on SAP ECC 6.0 SAP_APPL Release 606

Hi ,

I had the same problem, and solved it by setting IR_IND or GR_IND with 'X' in item (one of them, but I don't remember which.

I tried every combination of setting those indicators, but get the same error.   Thanks for reply.

Problem has been solved, I implemented Note 1859295 and it solved the issue.

Nice to know that you managed to solve your problem. I'm working with the same BAPI, and I had the same problem.

If it's useful for you, I will have to implement note 0001760607, as the BAPI its not working for changing business partners.

Thank you, we have not come across this issue, but if we do I know which note to apply.
