Hi Experts,
We are using the BAPI BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE to do Goods Issue.
When we do Goods Issue manually on MIGO, the reservation is automatically determined from the Production Order. But when we use the BAPI BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE, the reservation is not determined automatically from the Production Order.
We are specifying the Production Order number in GOODSMVT_ITEM-ORDERID and we would like the BAPI to determine the reservation automatically as in MIGO.
Could you please suggest how to proceed?
Thanks,
Vitish.

Hi Vitish,
In this BAPI, Reservation can not be populated if you are trying to issue without reservation.
Please read BAPI Documentation, In GM03 (Issue) clearly mentioned that :
The following fields cannot be populated (this is not a complete list):
Reservation
Receiving/issuing material
Receiving/issuing plant
Receiving/issuing storage location
Receiving/issuing batch
Please check GM_Code 03: Goods issue in documentation , i believe you can go with 'Good issue With Reservation '.
Thanks
Deependra

Hi Deependra,
Thanks for your reply. In fact, I want to know why is that when we perform goods issue on MIGO, the reservation is taken automatically and not when we do it via Idoc?
Thanks,
Vitish.
