BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_DATA_ADD

"BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_DATA_ADD" . I am trying to create a long text for a particular cause_code. But the error which is coming is "invalid catalog entry". Can any one give some input on this?

Could you send me an example? What data are requires for those BAPIs?

Hi,

We can't create long text directly.use FM SAVE_TEXT, EDIT_TEXT, DELETE_TEXT,INIT_TEXT.

We had to use :

1) bapi_alm_notif_data_add

2) BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_SAVE

3) bapi_transaction_commit

in sequence.

Any way thanks. Idea was similar.
