BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST Issue

Hi Guru's,

I am using BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST for posting GL accounts. I have to post Profit Segment also in CO-PA.

Can any body tell how to you this BAPI to post to CO-PA, also when I am using this BAPI it is giving me error "Enter a true account assignment object with revenues".

Please help.

I may be wrong here, but I thought this was handled by configuration either of the cost center or GL. If you post a manual transaction, the profit center posting should be created automatically.

is this an error or a warning. I will be based on config only but as far i have seen it would be a warning and not an error.

Hi Rohit,

I had earlier worked with this BAPI and out of my experience i could tell you only one thing.

before using this BAPI make sure all your configs are correct for the scenario that you want to do a posting.

Get those thigs done by your Functional Consultant.

BAPI keeps on throwing error messages as and when it encounters and you can not expect them before hand.

Best way is, ask your Functinal consultant to give you data which he/she would have used for a successful posting, so that you can use it for your BAPI, its only that how u input the data to BAPI is different but GL accouts cost centres and other line item and header details are same..
