is there any way to change the job Status to Cancelled other than using the FM "BP_JOB_ABORT " or else please give me what parameters need to be passed to that FM.
And is it possible to add a custom message in the Job Log.
Take a look on the function group BTCH. And in the fm BAPI_XBP_JOB_ABORT. To get the parameters to be passed to the fm BP_JOB_ABORT you can use the fm BP_JOB_READ or BP_FIND_JOBS_WITH_PROGRAM passing the job name or program as parameter.
