Hi all,
sometimes I need to add my user to a transport request. Certainly I do this in eclipse. But if I do this an integrated SAP GUI window opens with the new created transport task. Do anyone know how I can avoid opening this annoying GUI window while this action?

Hi Armin,
I'm not really sure what you are doing here. How do you add the user to the transport request in eclipse? Via the transport viewer or via the transport popup when saving the source within the editor?

Thomas.

Ok, I fear there is no workaround to avoid the GUI window yet.
Is it possible to put this on the wishlist? So there comes up a popup asking the user name, the system could also ask via a checkbox if a GUI window should open or not.

Hi Thomas,
I add the user via the Transport Organizer view. I open the context menu of the transport request inside the view and choose the function Add User.

Hi Raghuvira,

Hi Armin,
I forgot to inform you. We have made this fix and it would be available in the next ADT release.
As you suggested, the "Add Task\User" dialog will have a checkbox to open the SAP GUI. The default behavior is that SAP GUI is not opened.
