Avoid database deadlock at insert-operations

hello,

i have a problem with a high-parallelized (200-300 processes) application/transaction. The application insert entries in a customer defined table. At the insert there are often appear deadlocks, because different processes try to access the table simultaneously.

Exits a possibility to avoid deadlocks?

Are you locking the entire table? If so, try locking just the row(s) you need to update.
