Hi Vijay,

You have to configure your ATP check and system will do it automatically when creating a sales order. You can manually execute ATP check while creating sales order from VA01 itself ( in item data screen , click on Item Availablility ( cntrl + F5 ) ) if you want to override the automatic check.

You can use transaction CO09 to simulate availability check.

For refernce there are a number of OSS notes . Please note 835219 . This is a composite note where you can find other relevant note numbers .
