Auto insert value in other field

How to enter value automatically in a field based on selected value

in other field in dialog screen.

please help me.

Hi,

In search help of first field, add second field and check mark the EXport column

Hi Virat,

Value1 and Value2 are the screen fields.

Then write the code like,

If Value1 EQ A.

Value2 = A.

else if Value1 EQ B.

Value2 = B.

Endif.

hi navin thankx your answer is helpful for me...

But what i want to do is when user selects a value in a field based on search help value i want to fetch record from database and want to do some arithmetic calculation then i want to display result automaticaly in second field.
