Authorization names

For a profile there are maximum of 150 authorisations and if it is exceeded then a new profile is generated automatically.

If the profile name is T-12345678 then authorization names start from T-1234567800 to T-1234567899,

here 100 authorizations are covered.then what names are given to the other 50 authorizations?

Not an issue as the numbers only contain the unique objects that are there more than once, i have never seen that in a single role more than 100 time the same object was needed??

You can add >100 instances of an auth object into a role but the object instances just won't have any fields assigned to them in the role.

Bit concerning if you get close with a single object too!

Hello Vijayendra ,

it is easy to reach the limit of 150 authorizations per profile. Please keep in mind, that the numbering form 00 - 99 limits only the number of authorizations for one single object in the profile.

In PFCG you will have the '00'-authorization for each single object, which is contained in the profile. So it is possible, to have 150 authorizations in one profile, and all authorizations have the number '00'!

Simply create a profile in PFCG and enter 151 different authorization objects. The first 150 will get the number '00', the last '01'.

So the limit of 150 auths per profile makes sense in pfcg too, where the automatic number assignement is active (from 00 to 99).

everything clear now?
