Hi SAP Gurus...

To enter records in a ztable(custom table), we need to create a table maintenance generator, for which we need the Authorization group and Function group respectively. But how to determine that which of them to select from the list?

Please reply...

Hi

authorization groups wil be created by basis people

if your ceating for ur own process then Function Group is not mandatory

for eample for mara table authorization is <b>MA</b> RM:Application table

this will be known by ur basis people

if you want to give access for any one then use <b>&NC&</b> w/o auth. group

reward if usefull

Hi,

This you will have to check out with the Functional person or if you have a TL your TL about the Auth group. They should be able to give it to you.

REWARDS IF HELPFUL!!

hI

1. well, we can use su21

to go to this authroisation object.

--- open su21,

there will be a list.

double click on : BC_A Basis: Administration

another list will come.

scroll down and u will see this object

double click it again and

u will see a new window with the fields of this object

2. HOWEVER,

BASIS team will use PFCG tcode

to assign ROLES

and authorisation bojects to use ids.

3. In that they will select this

object

and assign the TABLE NAMES

in the list.

4. So that user will be able

to see only THESE tables.
