Hi,
We have implemented a BADi that will be called while updating infotypes. Please tell me does the implementation of the BADi needs any authorization to execute. I ask this because the implementation has executed fine for a user and not executed for another who has a different role(this is tried only once and cannot be simulated as this occurs only in PRD).
Thanks,

Hi Sarath,
No authorization is required for the execution of implementation.
And regarding executing for one and not executing for the other, check the condition for which the implementation is triggering. The conditions could be diifferent in both the cases. Might be the implementation is filter dependent.

Vipin.

Hi Vipin,
Thanks for the reply.
The BADi is not filter dependent and the conditions included in the BADi is with the data, and the data is correct.
Thanks,

Vipin,
Thanks for your input. My issue got solved and it was a problem with authorization of a transaction. And as you said for execution of an implementation separate authorization is not required.
Thaks,
