authority check

Dear All

I have a doubt in authority check.I hope the syntax for authority check is like

authority-check object 'P_objid'

id BUKRS value 'CCM'

..............................

..............................

So please tell me how to find the object for each TCODE. I mean my FC gave me a Custom TCODE created by somebody here and he told me to to authority-check to Personal area and Personal Subarea (This is is HRPY). I know the fields but i dont know how to find the object for this...Please help...

Hi,

All the objects will be stored in the table TOBJ.

We can also see for that object what are the fields attached.

You can find all authorisation objects, grouped by application in transaction SU21.

Please see transaction SU24. On the first screen just enter the transaction code and make sure the Type of Application is defaulted to "Transaction". Execute it - it will show you the list of Authorization Objects used for that particular transaction, Then you can use the ones from this list in your program as per your requirement.
