Arabic text print using Dot matrix printer

Hi Friends,

My client using Dot matrix printer to print forms,Now we are implementing SAP so he want to continue the same for SAP forms as well.

Every Form contains both Arabic and English texts,when I am printing the form Arabic text appearing as junk data (# # #)  device type ussed is ARSWIN and as paper dimensions I have created Page format.I am not sure where I am doing the mistake or dot matrix wont printers support Arabic text, with the same dimensions/specifications I could able to print using HP laser printer.Any clue/suggestion?.

Hi Srinivas,

• If we need to output Arabic text, the language of the form must be Arabic. Arabic text within an English form is only supported, Check Note - SAP note 1391768 using transaction (SNOTE).

  I assume Dot Matrix printer supports Arabic text.

I have implemented the things mentioned in the Note still no luck, which is working fine for HP laser printer but not to Dot matrix..
