Can any one pls let me know how to find out the object name - i searched for funciton group and function modules, but could not find it out. Pls let me know how to find out /FRE/DB_DIF_WRITE and do the changes for this. This is for note1282017.

Hello Raju,
You donot have to manually apply the changes, you can apply the OSS notes using SNOTE.
Further info on SNOTE available on SDN.

Hello,
I checked the note in SNOTE & it is applicable for the releases SCM 500, 510, 700.
I donot have access to the SCM client so i cant help you any further to find the objects.
Also check the implementation status of the note, what doe it say?

Hi Suhas,
Thanks for your reply.
But, can you go to the program mentioned in the note with out using the SAP Note. In my system, in SAP note transaction- no notes were displayed, which implies none of the notes have been applied through SAP Note transaction code. So i want to check manually whether we can implement the note or not.
Thanks,
Raju

Hi,
Can you pls let me know how to chekc, whether a SAP Note has been implemented or not, if the note is implemented automatically through the package or through manually.

Go and find in SNOTE .. If the number exists, then it is implemented from snote
Just go to note - display the note- take the program / function group / function module and go to the program/function group / FM in your system - then check for the code from the note.
or
You can go to SNOTE and download the note (Ctrl + F8) and try to execute it. If it is already implemented through the SNOTE, System will give a message
