1. what is application hierachy

It is nothing but a logical grouping

of objects under some application.

Logistic--> MM

-

---

> Purcahsing

-

---

> Inventory Management

etc.

2. how is it created ..

Its primarily created by SAP.

It uses the concept of Package for this purpose.

3. what is the purpose of it ..

Just to logicalally identify

the RELATED groups of objects.
