How many appends are possible for a Table/structure?

Up to my knowledge there is no such limit. you can create many if required. any thing stopping you to create, i mean are you getting any error.

Append Structure :

An append structure is a structure that is assigned to exactly one table or structure. There can be more than one append structure for a table or structure.

Structure :

A structure can therefore be nested to any depth.

But in Includes,

The maximum nesting depth is limited to nine. The maximum length of a path of nested includes in a table or structure is therefore nine (the table/structure itself not included).

Hi,

I think you can have more than one append to a table/structure.

For eg:

If you look for the structure RFPOS, you can append as many structures as you like by clicking on the append structure tab.

You will find the appended structure in the field list of the RFPOS structure beginning with a .APPEND.

Hi diana,

In one database table you can have any number of APPEND STRUCTURES as per your requirement.There is no limitation to append structures but if a structure has been appended to one database table then it cannot be appended to any other database table.So take care that you decide carefully which structures you want to append.

This is in contrast to INCLUDE structures where the same structure can be included in more than one database tables.
