Append structure in VBKD

Hello Experts,

I deleted an append structure from VBKD and added another structure. Then Requested Basis to convert and adjust and activate since we do not have authorisations. Later on some change came in data element of one of the appends. Again i deleted an append structure also and raised the request to BASIS team.

Now they are not able to activate since it shows inconsistency. Basis team gets error that table definition is inconsistent. Change at structure level.

Now we tried to redefine the deleted append.

But for that I created the definition through SE11 directly. So it got created as normal structure and not able to append it to VBKD again.

Please suggest how to append it again to VBKD.

check for the append structure which you have created....

may be it have some inconsistencies beacuse you need to give enhancement category.

goto se11 give the append structure name and click display...

now go to menu path Extras--> enhancement category.... select there any radio button...

mostly can be enhanced ( char or numeric )...

now after that activate it... and later activate the table...

after that gto se14 and activate and adjust database....

be carefull here select the radio button save data and hit activate and adjust database button..
