Hi,
We added a append structure in VBAP and then for some reason had to delete one field (YYALC) and add some new ones. Now it does not activate and gives an error message 'that append structure VBAP not found, Field YYALC was deleted... '
it now does not even let me delete the append structure, saying its being used somewhere....
Help appretiated...

It says Structure YVBAP is still used in Structres / tables,
STOP : Due to use in DD, deletion cannot ber performed...

I did a whereused, but it shows its not used anywhere...

Can you explain in more detail as what was the append structure name and all the steps you performed.

I added a append structure in VBAP , using the append sturcture button... YVBAP, then I added 2 new fileds in it YYVBELN and YYABC.. and activated the structure and table.. All was fine till then...
then i had to remove YYVBELN and add one new field YYNLC.. once I did this and activated it gave me errors.. that YYVBELN was deletd.. ALter table not possible.. I even tried using SE14.. but did not help..
So I tried to delete the structure, thats when it does not allow me...

How did you tried to delete field from table or from structure?

there is not option to delete it from the table, i had to delete the structure, so it will delete it from the table..

Hi,
Before performing such append structure to standard tables for Eg: VBAP care should be taken nobody is using or performing any task with related to that tables like creating sales orders/ fetching some data from that table in that case no changes would be allowed to that table and it fails to get activate
