Hi!!
I'm facing with the following problem: I would like to access a file from SAP, which can be located on a file server (it can be accessed from my windows like this:
servernamepath ilename). The access of this server requires identification: username and password.
If I run the program online, and I accessed the server before the program run, it is working, because the connection to the server is live.
However I would like to run this program in the background.
How can I set up the connection between SAP and the file server, using username and password identification?
Thank you.

Hi Tamás Nyisztor ,
Try SM59 to create a RFC. Here you can set username and password.

And what can I do with the RFC, after it is set? How can I read files from that fileserver using RFC??

Hi,
You can use FTP method/command to access file in the file server from SAP by providing username and password.

hi,
you should write a little script for the logon to server.
and a small abap programm can execute it in the background
or you define external commands "SM69"
function group SXPT or SXPG
