I've toyed with the idea once or twice but always get side tracked because BlazeDS is free and java based so you can just run that on your portal to get back to the ABAP stack, which solves crossdomain, SSO issues and gets you the native speed both on RFC and the AS side. So I always decide it's not worth the time or the PITA.

We don't have Java Portal and don't want it...

We devellopped custom WAS/flex/HTML one. I don't really like working with J2EE anymore (too heavy, slow,...), BSP are quick to set up.

I just wonder if anyone would have tried or would like to start a project on it. We currently use JSON, but i think we would gain on having an AMF/ ABAP serializer.

I did thought about this, but with work schedules never had a chance to start this. If you would like to start a project count me in.
