ALV Tree control, Layout-View

There are <b>standard SAP reports</b> using the <b>ALV tree</b>. For example the s_alr_87012284 (Balance Sheet/P+L Statement)

The End User usually when he is viewing the report he expands <b>certain nodes</b> to <b>some level</b> (He does not expand ALL nodes).

Is it possible the end user to <b>save this kind of view</b> so that the next time he executes the report to have the same view? NOW he is obliged to repeat this job every time he enters the List.

Hi,

He can save the Layout by clicking on the "Save Layout" button on the GUI-Toolbar.

I dont think that you can save the expansion of certain nodes (the desired view) by Saving the layout.

If I am not wrong you can save the columns you want to display , sorting criteria, filters etc but how can you save the degree you want to expand/collapse the tree nodes?

Can you be more specific?
