Hi!
I've an ALV report with header and detail. When I print it, only shows the detail. Until now I used <i>i_callback_html_top_of_page</i> parameter at function REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY, but if I change to parameter <i>i_callback_top_of_page</i>, it shows me the header also when I print...
So, I want to know differences between these two types of parameters and benefits from use one or another. I saw that html type works with objects and the other not.
Thanks,
Oscar

I_CALLBACK_HTML_TOP_OF_PAGE is used when we want to show the text in HTML format or Online.
If function module REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE is not used in the form for I_CALLBACK_TOP_OF_PAGE, the form routine must be passed in parameter I_CALLBACK_HTML_TOP_OF_PAGE for the online mode. The form should then have the following format:
form top_of_page using cl_dd type ref to cl_dd_document.
In the form, you can, for example, use methods of class CL_DD_DOCUMENT to display text in HTML format.

This is what says at help...
My problem is that I used I_CALLBACK_HTML_TOP_OF_PAGE because in header I put 2 different columns, but when I try to list it, it not shows the header. Instead, if I use CALLBACKTOP_OF_PAGE I don't know if it is possible to format header to allow put text in columns... Is it possible?
Thanks!

Hi Oscar,
You can write the header also in event 'TOP_OF_LIST' in ALV.
The contents that you have written in this event will not be displayed on the screen but will get printed.
In this way your contents in I_CALLBACK_HTML_TOP_OF_PAGE will be displayed on the screen but not printed. And the contents in the event 'TOP_OF_LIST' will not be displayed on screen but will get printed.
I had also faced this problem and had done this to resolve the issue.
Rgds,
Nitin

Hi,
TOP_OF_LIST is work at screen and is printed as you say, but I still having a problem... I need to make two different columns at the header and I don't know if it's possible with this type of header. If it's possible, how can I do it? If not, what can I do then?
Thanks!
