ALV GRID

Hi All,

Gud to c many threads on ALV and very good they get there answers, well i am also on the same boat

I have given the option for saving the grid under the method SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY

with I_SAVE = 'U'

but when i am saving the Grid it is giving a dump:-)

Some suggestion will surely make a difference for me in solving .

have a look at your fieldcatalog, it's may wrong.

i am using this snippet of code

CALL METHOD GO_GRID->SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY

EXPORTING

I_SAVE = 'A'

I_DEFAULT = 'X'

IS_LAYOUT = GS_LAYOUT

IT_TOOLBAR_EXCLUDING = GS_EXCLUDE

CHANGING

IT_OUTTAB = ITAB[]

IT_FIELDCATALOG = GT_FLDCAT

The termination occurred in the ABAP/4 program

"CL_ALV_VARIANT================CP " in

"SAVE_VARIANT".

The main program was "ZMD_UA ".

The termination occurred in line 118

of the source code of program "CL_ALV_VARIANT================CM001 " (when

calling the editor 1180).

Kindly Suggest me where am i going wrong.

try to give Bold ones or remove is_save = 'A'.

Hi Azee,

Try to see the code which i have given, you gave

i_save = 'A'. and but you didn't specified variant,

you should specify both together, or don't give any thing..
