ALV grid problem with editable cells

I have a custom control in a screen displaying an ALV grid, called by a report. The ALV contains editable cells. When I run the report directly it's fine.

But when I run the report via Tcode, the ALV doesn't display the editable fields anymore.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Thank you for your replies.

I made a mistake by building the fieldcatalog after calling method set_table_for_first_display(), because

when run by Tcode, the screen was called first, and the lines in START-OF-SELECTION were not executed. This is why my program was behaving normally when run directly.

When creating a transaction code, some radiobutton options come like:

1. Program and screen

2. Program and selection screen

...

You could try changing these options.
