Hello,
I guess we can restrict the length of the field to be displayed in output of ALV using a parameter 'outputlen'...not the list..

Max Columns can be displayed in ALV is 99.
Size of the row will be 1024.According to this no of columns can differ.
For a field you can set Output lenght using the fieldcatalog table.

Hi,
There is no restrictions for the number of rows in ALV.
Vertical scroll bar is there where you can scroll down to view the rows.

Any number of rows are possible in ALV(I.e Any number of records that an internal table holds)
