Hello!
I have a doubt about ALV. If I change the fields that are displayed in the screen of the ALV and I do not save the variant when I perform a new search the old layout is displayed again. How can I solve this problem?
Can anyone help me??
Best regards,

Hello Caíque
It is not sufficient to just save the layout you have to define it as DEFAULT layout.
Choose menu Layout -> Manage. In the list with the variant mark your default layout and save it.

Hi Atish,
I have an ALV Grid and I perform a search.
I click on the button "Change Layout".
I add some fields and I just confirm. I don't save a new layout variant. When I perform a new search the fields that I added disappear and I want that this do not happens. Is it possible?
Sorry about my English

Hi,
Unlesss you won't save your layout, it is not possible.
Everytime a grid called, it is called using the default layout defined in your program so to change the layout you need to first save it.

Hi,
You can have variant either user specific or global. Always allow user to create the user-specific variant. Refer program SALVDEMO. And you can create as many variant as you want so no need to worry about temporary variants.

Atish
