Hi All,

Is there a maximum number of columns an ALV Grid can display? If yes, how many columns can an ALV Grid display?

Hi

I think there is a limit of 90 Columns that are to be printed in ALV

hi,

For GRID :- line size is 255.

LIST :- 1023.

So within this limit u can give column szie, and thus the number of columns.

Hi,

in normal report the lngth is fixed to 255 whereas in ALV it is more than 255....U can accomodate as many fields as u can but there is restriction of somewhere above 200 fields...In ur case it is just 46 so u can accomodate in ALV in foreground...But if u run in background again it will take 255 characters concept.
