How many column can be shown using ALV Grid? Is there any maximum limit?

It seems you can display any number of columns

but while printing there is a limit like 99 columns

According to OSS note 303838, the 99 fields (columns) is only a limitation of the list based grid. With the control grid you can have more. However during print/export you are limited to what the list based grid can do.

But in ALV GRID the maximum length you can display is only 1023

SAP supports only 99 columns to be displayed in ALV grid.

Using ALV Grid or Container we can show max of 99 column. i tried both way & i could show more than 99 columns.
