Hi Gurus,

I have a doubt on ALE Configuration. For reports and other programs we specify development class so that it can be transported to the production server later. For Ale configuration what is the procedure to transport it into the production server? Am thinking that all the ALE configuration will be done at production server only instead of development server. Please clarify me in this issue.

Hi,

Yeah all the configurations will be done at the production server. The custom func modules and custom msg typs and custom idocs will be transported to Production Server from development server. Remaining Configurations will be done in production server ( like ports, RFC destinations , Partner Profiles etc.,)
