ALE + Transport

hi friends,

I have developed an ALE for transfer of material across two clients.Now i want to move this to QA/PROD..For this to get happen,only request has to transfer or something more has to be done..

If you have completed your ALE Model successfully and you have generated your Partner Profile, you should see your ALE Model on the Receiving Client as well as the Sending Client. There are no Transports for the ALE Models.

Hi Gaurav,

As per my knoledge the

following things cannot be transported

1). Port definition

2). Partner profile definition

3).RFC Destinations

4) Distribution model definition.

These things have to be created in each and every system for ALE settings.

I think you can only transport Distribution model View.

Goto BD64 -> Select the Model View.

Menu: Edit -> ModelView - > Transport.

I am not familiar with the Transport from BD64, but I have always used the Distribute Option to send my Model to the Target System.
