ALE -Problem

Hi all,

I have a scenario like i have to send similar data from one system to two differents differents. I have done all the setting in outbound and inbound side. But my scenario is i have to send the data to one system on a contineous basis and to another system on mothly wise. Can you please provide me the step by step procedure to meet this requirment.

Hi,

wat u can do is u collect the idocs and then schedule the program RSEOUT00 on monthly basis...for outbound and for inbound use RBDAPP01..

Thanks for your quick response. So you mean to say for second system i will collect all the idocs which are under 30 status and schedule the program RSEOUT00 with variant (collection of 30 status idoc) on a monthly basis in the sendor side. Please reply me whether am i right or wrong?

Yes u have to schedule the program RESOUT00 for outbound and RBDAPP01 for inbound..

That is right whatever you replied. my question is I will schedule the program RESOUT00 for outbound and RBDAPP01 for inbound that is fine. But to collect the 30 0r 64 status idoc i have to create a Zprogram right? Then when when this Zprogram will be called? i am new to this ALE/ IDOC. Kindly explain me in detail.

Hi,

Its better u cretae a Stand alon eprogram which will populate ur idoc. and then u schedule this Stand alone program for every 10 min ( depending on the frequency) and for evry 30 days On Periodic Basis.

thanks for your quick response. So you mean to say for second system i will collect all the idocs and create a Zprogram to collect these idoc for the secod system and schedule this program on a monthly basis. Am i right?
