Hi

can we filter segments in idoc data record at outbound side before sending it to inbound side.?

Yes u have Segment Filter Options before sending the IDOC's to the Inbound System, You can filter the Unwanted segments from the Idoc type and send it which is actually followed widely because there will lot of unwanted segments assigned in standard IDOC types, Use this transaction code <b>BD56</b>, for that.

You can filter the segments using transaction BD56 or in BD64 where after creating the distribution model just open the Tree structure of the Model,

At last you will find the Filters option. There you can filter out the segments based on condition.
