Hi All,

I want to configure inbound idoc using idoc type ORDERS05 for creating sales order in SAP from third party, as there is already a set up for creating sales orders using ORDERS05 from the same third party which triggers when we create a purchase order in SAP. In this situation in what way I need to configure my Inbound idoc which differs from the previous set up? Please help me...

Use different message varient or massage function to deffer.

you can use the fileds EDIDC-MESCOD or EDIDC-MESFCT. If the third party system can populate some different values to these fields in control record of the IDOc, you can defferentiate the both idocs.

Hi ,

You can differ them by maintaining message code in partner profiles .for example, several IDoc types have the same message type.The value you have mentioned in that particular field will be used to identify the usage of idoc .
