ALE idoc error

Hi experts,

I want to download the cost center via BD16. the message type is cosmas. And I got 2 message. One is 1 master idocs set up message type cosmas. the other is 0 communication Idoc(s) generated for message type cosmas.

So, i can't get the outbound Idocs.

I checked the logical systems in both sender and recx. They seem to be correct. Also, I sent the cost center group first and that idoc got created correctly.

Could u tell me which step i forget to setup?

Have you setup distribution model (BD64) and partner profile (WE20) correctly?

Hi Mrudula..

In the Outbound program the master idoc is generated but communication idoc is not generated.

This will be bcoz of Model view or Partner profiles problem. Have you add the Message type COSMAS in Both BD64 and WE20.

Then it must generate the communication idoc.

The Other reason could be when there is Data filter active in BD64, Only when the filter conditions are satisfied the Communication idoc will be generated.

Just for trail

Then in BD16 enter the Logical system also to see wheter the comm idoc is generated.

These are the possibilities i can think of..

Hi,

First check your partner profile do u add any msg type in both partner profile.

Means first u have to pass synch msg and cosmas in outbound parameters .

Then u have to check the bd64 model is partner profile generated with no errors or still it is fulty ..

firest up all check the both side logial system.And generate the partner profile and give we20 partner profile of <i><b>Synch[/</i>b] Synch is a mandatory thing.

then generate the BD64
