Hello Eclipse Team,
at the moment i have an issue by downloading updates for Eclipse.
In our company we are using PAC files for our proxy configuration, but i did not found any setting option to handle this files in eclipse.
I searched some days on google, but had no success.
Is it in general possible to use PAC files for proxy settings in Eclipse?
May you could help me

Hi Frederik,
it seems that this is still an open issue for Eclipse:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=279471
I would suggest that you download the pac file using a normal browser (it is just JavaScript) and find out what your HTTP/HTTPS proxy is and set them manually. You still might need username and password.
Best regards
Gregor
