I'm working on Neon since RC1 came up, and ADT for Mars works correctly there. At least I haven't noticed anything strange

I installed Neon for Java, Jee and C++...what should I use?

I can only see some UI improvements so far, like better scalling on 4K screens and a auto hiding scroll-bar in the editor. But I use Eclipse only for ABAP. I don't know if ADT team will provide any new things for Neon version.

I could not find the perspective "SAP Hana Modeler" under Neon. On mars no problem.

I support this question. I've just tried to install SAPUI5 tools on Neon version and failed with error.

The problem is in org.eclipse.wst.jsdt.feature.feature.group  package that is not found.

Meanwhile Mars 2 platform was updated with SAP tools without issues.

we will have the Neon updatesite available end of July.

And NO, there is no Web IDE for ABAP that you can investigate.

For me with eclipse Neon and ADT 2.60.4 ABAP Coverage seems not to work. After i run unit test with CTRL-SHIFT+F11 the coverage isn't highlighted in the source code.

Neon:

Same procedure works with eclipse 4.5.2.

The colors for the ABAP Coverage annotations are set properly.

Anyone else? Any hints?

Hi Christian,

when I look at you screenshots, it looks like the button 'Hide Highlighting' is checked in the coverage view. Try to uncheck it... hope it works 😉

Since today the update site https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/ contains our next version of the ABAP Development Tools. This version is officially released for the usage on Neon.
