Additional Data B tab blank in VA01

Hello,

We are in need of an additional field on the sales order entry screen VA01 (item level) for pricing, and research seems to indicate there should be fields available for use on Additional Data B tab. But the tab is blank. We found and tried to implement note 302497, but there is nothing to download. All other fields in VA01 are already being used, we have no other options. How can we utilize this tab? We are on ECC 5.0.

on 4.7 I have done this by modification of user-exit includes MV45AFZZ, MV45AIZZ, MV45AOZZ

and as written in note 302497 by modification of dynpro 8309.

We have seen note 302497. So let me see if I understand the process correctly (I am not an ABAP developer, so please bear with me).... Are the steps as follows?:

1. Maintain the appropriate user exit(s) to populate subscreen 8459, container 4462 with new field

2. Implement note 302497 to gain visibility to the field on Additional Data B in VA01?

2. if you need add calling of modules PBO, PAI to dynpro logic, modules

3. write code of modules to includes MV45AIZZ (PAI) , MV45AOZZ (PBO), MV45AFZZ(form)

For basic use you don't need modules. Probably you will need SSCR key.

Yes,for modification. If you will need it (sap prompts for it) you get it on http://service.sap.com/sscr

You will probably also solve problems with filling fields on screen and saving them to database. (I don't completely understand your description of problem.)

Thank you Dagmar! This has been very helpful. We did end up having to get an SSCR key. We also have to fill the field into user exit RV60AFZZ for invoices.

We had also put in an OSS note and received a very lengthy repsponse which was of great help, too. I will paste below. Hopefully it will be of use to others:

1) You can add additional information in the sale order in the followingway:

You can add fields of self-defined tables on the "Additional Data B" tab.Those fields should be added onto the respective screen and the flow

Logic should be adjusted. Additional header data is screen SAPMV45A 0309,additional item data is on screen SAPMV45A 0459. These screens contain

Include screens SAPMV45A 8309 or SAPMV45A 8459 as user exits.

This should involve not only appending a structure containing customer-

Specific fields within the tables VBAK, VBAP etc. but also using the

userexit coding:

a)MV45AOZZ for PBO (i.e. module zzmodify_uas_pbo output);

b)MV45AIZZ for PAI (i.e. module zzmodify_uas_pai input);

c)MV45AFZZ (sub-routine USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP) for defaulting the

values from the customer master and further processing.

in SE37. The documentation of the BAPI explains the following for the

any user-specific fields, then you can transfer a blank EXTENSIONIN

Many customers have appended the Z-fields to the VBAP table and

SP upgrade has not resulted in any Data loss.

Please understand as per the note 170183, SAP does not support any

issues which arise because of the User-exit.
